Announcing ARI's Digital Strategy Initiative

We would like to share with you the following message to donors from Yaron Brook.

Dear Contributor:

Over the past twenty-six years, ARI has made significant progress in bringing Ayn Rand’s ideas to the forefront of the cultural debate.

However, we are outnumbered and outspent by our opposition. Therefore we must find ways not only to increase our resources—but to utilize them in the most effective and leveraged manner possible.

This means we must become world-class at utilizing the technology of the 21st century.

We need to maximize the power of e-books; online periodicals; engaging and interactive websites and blogs; content and applications for mobile devices; social media; and downloadable, streaming video and audio.

In short, we need to put Ayn Rand at the world’s fingertips.

That’s why ARI has launched a capital campaign to upgrade our technology not only to create a world-class digital presence today, but also to incorporate future technological breakthroughs.

We have already recruited several technology professionals who have agreed to serve as an expert technology advisory board to help us develop a comprehensive digital strategy.

Our goal is to create an integrated digital media infrastructure with innovative, engaging websites; easy accessibility for the growing numbers of mobile-device users; social media integration; and video and audio capabilities for both our educational and our advocacy content.

This is an ambitious undertaking—our budget for this digital strategy is $1.5 million.

Fortunately, we have received a commitment from an ARI donor to match all contributions dedicated to our Digital Strategy Initiative. As of this writing, our progress toward the $1.5 million goal is approaching the half-million-dollar mark.

Your contribution, which will be matched dollar for dollar, will allow us to put Ayn Rand at the world’s fingertips.

As you know, we are in a war of ideas against the prevailing ideological trends: irrationality, collectivism, and statism. And in recent years a new, digital, front has been opened in this war.

Our Digital Strategy Initiative will enable us to fight effectively on this digital front—promoting Ayn Rand’s ideas as effectively as possible both in the near term, and in the years to come.

I hope we can count on your support!

Sincerely,

Yaron Brook
President and Executive Director
