New Milestones for the Ayn Rand Institute

We would like to share with you the following message to donors from Yaron Brook.

Dear Contributor:

Earlier this month, I debated Miles Rapoport, president of the progressive think tank Demos, in the first of three debates schedule for New York City this spring. Attendance was outstanding, with more than 500 people in attendance, and nearly 900 viewers online. The next debate in the series will be held on April 7.

This debate marked a major step forward in our efforts to promote Ayn Rand’s ideas. It was made possible to a great extent by the work of Barry Colvin and the New York Chapter of the Ayn Rand Institute, a volunteer organization formed last year to support the work of the Institute in the New York area.

The New York Chapter marks a new phase in the growth and development of ARI. Working locally in New York, the organization is playing a key role in promoting the Institute and its mission in the nation’s largest and most influential business center.

In a similar vein, I am pleased to announce the creation of the Chicago Chapter of the Ayn Rand Institute.

Like its sister organization in New York, the new Chicago chapter will sponsor talks, debates and other outreach activities designed to further our mission in another one of our nation’s leading business and financial centers.

This intensification of our efforts, with branches in New York and Chicago—along with the creation of the Ayn Rand Center in Washington, DC, just two and a half years ago—is part of our ongoing effort to both broaden and deepen the impact of our work. It allows us to reach audiences which previously eluded our reach; it allows us to leverage our resources to maximum effect.

Our ongoing effort to promote Ayn Rand and her ideas is critical to steering this country toward a future which will embrace reason, liberty and capitalism. The expansion of ARI—with a presence in Washington, New York and Chicago as well as continued growth in our Southern California headquarters—is essential to our success.

Your support, in turn, is essential to our growth and to the achievement of these objectives.

Thank you for your consideration and support!

Sincerely,

Yaron Brook
President and Executive Director
