Doug Altner

Instructor & Analyst

Doug Altner, Ph.D., develops content for ARI's educational programs with an emphasis on courses for those new to Ayn Rand's philosophy. He is also involved in our professor and student resource programs, speaking and writing on behalf of ARI.


Rituparna Basu

Writer/Research Coordinator

Rituparna is editor of ARI's donor newsletter, Impact, and helps with research and editorial projects for the Institute's Policy team.


Thomas Bowden

Outreach Liaison, Education and Research

Thomas engages in outreach to professional organizations, academia, and think tanks. He also provides program support for ARI's education and research projects.


Yaron Brook

President and Executive Director

Yaron is president and executive director of the Ayn Rand Center. He is a regular contributor to Forbes.com. A former finance professor, he has been published in academic as well as popular publications, and his opinion-editorials appear in major newspapers. He is frequently interviewed on national TV and radio. Dr. Brook lectures on Objectivism, business ethics and foreign policy at college campuses, community groups and corporations across America and throughout the world.


Mark Chapman

Vice President of Development and Outreach

Mark oversees fund raising for ARI and directs marketing programs and outreach activities for the Institute's education, policy and business segments.


Debi Ghate

Vice President of Education and Research

Debi leads ARI's Education and Research Division, whose focus is to introduce Ayn Rand's books and ideas to a range of audiences, including students, educators, policy makers and consumers. The Division writes scholarly and policy-aimed books, articles and other materials based on Rand's philosophy, Objectivism.


Onkar Ghate

Senior Fellow and Vice President of Intellectual Leadership

Onkar Ghate, Ph.D. in philosophy, is the Institute’s senior editor and senior instructor. He is also responsible for providing philosophic direction and oversight for the Institute’s many projects.


Elan Journo

Fellow and Director of Policy Research

Elan writes, edits, lectures and gives interviews for ARI and serves as the director of the Institute's Policy team. He specializes in foreign policy. His first book, Winning the Unwinnable War, analyzes U.S. policy since 9/11.


Kurt Kramer

Media Relations

Kurt promotes media-related digital and print programs and activities including distribution of op-eds and press releases and arranging television and radio interviews for the Institute’s speakers and writers.


Don Watkins

Fellow

Don writes and speaks on economic policy for ARI. He is the co-author, with Yaron Brook, of Free Market Revolution: How Ayn Rand's Ideas Can End Big Government, and blogs at Laissez-Faire: The Uncompromised Case for Capitalism.


Lin Zinser

Director of Public Outreach

Lin directs policy and business outreach programs and activities for ARI, and specifically those activities at the Ayn Rand Center for Individual Rights, in Alexandria, Virginia.
