9/11—Two Years Later: Why America Is Still Losing the War!

By Yaron Brook
Recorded September 8, 2003

9/11--Two Years Later

Assessing the nearly two-year-long War on Terrorism, Dr. Yaron Brook of the Ayn Rand Institute will argue that, despite some progress, the war is falling short of its goal—the eradication of Islamic terrorism against the West. Dr. Brook will examine the ways in which the war is failing to curb the growth of militant Islam, the ideology behind the terrorists. He will discuss the situation today in Iraq and in the rest of the Middle East. And he will look at the reasons for the Bush Administration’s inadequate response to terrorism and identify some steps necessary for winning the war decisively.

Following the lecture, there is an open Q-&-A session with Dr. Brook and Dr. Onkar Ghate.
