Sample Statement of Purpose

The purpose of this club is to study and promote Objectivism, the philosophy of Ayn Rand, to all those who are receptive, and to demonstrate to the campus that reason, laissez-faire capitalism, and rational self-interest are the foundations of a free society. This organization will provide access to literature, activities, and information concerning the philosophy of Objectivism. It will serve as an information bureau and a center for educational activities, such as guest speakers.
