Auditing the Seminar on Ayn Rand's Philosophy of Objectivism
If you are interested in auditing the OAC's second-year course, a twenty-three week survey of Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism, please visit our auditing page for more information; we are now accepting registrations to audit the 2009-10 seminar.
OAC to host Information Session in Boston, MA
On July 7, the OAC will host an information session about its curriculum and what it's like to be a student in the program at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. If you are in the area and would like to learn more about the program, please stop by. Admission is FREE!
OAC Student Mixer at the Objectivist Summer Conference
On July 5, OAC students will gather for a mixer at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. The OAC mixer provides students with the opportunity to meet and greet their fellow classmates from around the world, talk to OAC faculty, and honor the past year's graduates.
Graduate Student Mixer at the Objectivist Summer Conference
The OAC will also host an invitation-only graduate student mixer at the Objectivist Summer Conference. Objectivist professors in various fields will meet with OAC students headed for a career in academia, so that they can discuss academic issues and provide the students with guidance on how to develop their own careers. The mixer will take place on July 7.
2008-09 OAC year ends
The 2008-09 academic year has come to a close. The OAC staff looks forward to congratulating this year's graduating class at the Objectivist Summer Conference in Boston.
Objectivist Summer Conference Scholarships Awarded
The OAC recently awarded twenty of its qualified students scholarships that enable them to attend the Objectivist Summer Conference for free! These scholarships are offered to OAC students every year.
Dr. Onkar Ghate at Clemson University Student Conference
Dr. Onkar Ghate, Dean of the OAC, will teach a course at "Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged and the Moral Foundations of Capitalism," a three-day conference for students held at Clemson University. Dr. Ghate's lecture will focus on Ayn Rand's novel, Atlas Shrugged. Visit the conference website for more information, as well as highlights from past conferences.
OAC Information Lunch Recording
