False Accusations Against the U.S.
By David Holcberg (San Francisco Examiner, March 18, 2003; Middle East Times, March 22, 2003; Calgary Sun, March 23, 2003)
The United States has been accused of being unilateralist--despite President Bush's attempts to rally international support for the war on terrorism; arrogant--despite President Bush's begging for U.N. approval to attack Iraq; and selfish--despite years of turning the other cheek to terrorists seeking to destroy America. If only these accusations were true. September 11 might never have happened.
