MARINA DEL REY, CA--The environmentalists' attacks on John Stossel's exposé of their indoctrination of schoolchildren reveals the immorality of the greens, said a senior writer for the Ayn Rand Institute.
"During the April Earth Day Fair in Los Angeles, Stossel interviewed a number of children whose parents had agreed to let them be interviewed," noted Robert Tracinski, also a columnist with Creators Syndicate. "Later, with the 'help' of the Environmental Working Group, several parents announced that they were revoking their consent, because of Stossel's 'negative slant' on environmentalism. Stossel was forced by ABC to drop the children's interview from his recent show.
"Having attended that Earth Day Fair myself," said Tracinski, "I can confirm the truth of what Stossel was forbidden to show: that schoolchildren are indeed indoctrinated in environmentalism--before they have any capacity to grasp its meaning and judge it objectively for themselves. And they are fed this dogma instead of what they need to know to become rational, informed adults. The environmentalists cynically manipulate children for political purposes. This is the real scandal, and it must be exposed.
