To the Editor,

The recent acts of war on America were made possible by our failure to retaliate against foreign governments that sponsored terrorist acts in the past. No matter who is directly responsible, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, and Libya all supported those acts and are complicit in them. We must defend ourselves by acknowledging that a state of war exists with these countries. Another pinprick missile strike will not prevent the large-scale atrocities the enemies of freedom wish to inflict on us. Let us act boldly and acknowledge that this is War--not a criminal investigation.
