Major Collection of Ayn Rand's Works Now Free Online

Irvine, CA--In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Atlas Shrugged, the Ayn Rand Institute is posting online a major collection of audio and video recordings of Ayn Rand. By special permission from the Estate of Ayn Rand, 48 hours of audio and video taken from 54 of Ayn Rand's public appearances, interviews and lectures are now available for free at http://www.aynrand.org/site/PageServer?pagename=index (registration is necessary). Many of those recordings are not available in print.
 
"We believe this is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in ideas to experience firsthand one of the 20th century's most influential and provocative thinkers," said Dr. Yaron Brook, executive director of the Ayn Rand Institute. "By making available online this treasure of incisive, original material by Ayn Rand, we hope to make her ideas reach an ever wider audience."

"Millions of people have read Ayn Rand's novels, but not nearly as many have read her nonfiction work. By making this audio and video collection accessible to the public," said Dr. Brook, "we hope to provide her readers, and those who have yet to read her, with the unique opportunity to listen and watch Ayn Rand in action."
