Whales vs. Humans

Fortunately, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco made the right decision and rejected an environmentalist's lawsuit to ban the U.S. Navy from using long-range sonar (which would supposedly harm marine mammals). But even if that allegation were true, why are environmentalists unconcerned with the reduced ability of our submarines to detect potential military threats? The answer is that the goal of environmentalism is not the well-being of humans. We see here yet another attempt to sacrifice real human needs for the alleged sake of animals. Once again, environmentalists are showing whose side they are on, and it is not humanity's.
